What Sizes Do High Quality Roll Up Banner Stands Come In?

While roll up banner stand products come in a variety of sizes, the standard measurements of a graphic banner are 800 mm wide by 2,000 mm high. This banner size is perfect for transportation, storage, and for use in areas with limited space. These measurements can vary depending on the roll up banner stand factories where they’re made. You may find roll up banners that measure between 30 and 35 inches wide and as high as 84 inches. The roll up banner stand size you choose depends on how much information you want to display, how much room you’re working with, and where you plan to store it.

How Do Retractable Roll Up Banner Stands Work?

Before you buy roll up banner stands, it’s important to know how they work. The design and set-up of roll up banner stands is pretty basic. These stands work by retracting the banner graphic into the housing of the stand using a mechanical spring. This spring pulls the graphic down and around the roller, conveniently and safely storing it in the base.

The base of most roll up banner stand products have feet or arms to provide balance. A telescopic pole extends and tightens with a hook on the end to hold the graphic banner in place once it’s extended. Simply place the hook on the pole into the hook on the top of the banner and lift upwards. You may also want to hold down the bottom of the portable roll up banner stand with your foot as you extend the banner to prevent it from falling over. Once the graphic is fully extended, place the pole into the holder at the base of the banner. The pole now acts as a support for your graphic. The banner itself is usually made of either vinyl or PVC. These materials are cost-effective and display a variety of colorful images and text and have the added bonus of being lightweight.
