About products and suppliers

Make your work easier by using a road roller machine for your parking lots and roads. Road flattening machines smooth out and compress soil, concrete, asphalt, and gravel.

What is a Road Roller Compactor?

A road roller compactor is a heavy construction vehicle that is used to compact and level asphalt or concrete surfaces. It typically consists of a large steel drum that is powered by an engine and is used to apply pressure to the surface being worked on. There are two main types of road roller machines: vibratory rollers and pneumatic rollers. Vibratory tandem rollers use a vibrating drum to compact the surface. They come in a variety of sizes and can be used for both soil and asphalt compaction. Pneumatic road roller machines use a steel drum that is filled with air to create a cushion between the drum and the surface. They are typically used for asphalt compaction. Street roller machines can also be classified based on the number of drums they have. Single-drum rollers have one drum in the front, while 3-ton double-drum rollers have one drum in front and another at the back.

How to Use a Road Roller Machine

Using a 1.5-ton double-drum roller involves several steps, but for the first step, you must prepare the surface. It should be cleared of debris, and any loose material should be leveled and compacted. Turn on the engine of the small double-drum roller and check that all systems are working properly. Make sure the area around the machine is clear of any obstacles or people.

Slowly drive the road roller machine over the surface, making multiple passes to ensure that the entire area is compacted. Adjust the speed and pressure of the roller as needed. After compaction, the surface should be smooth and level. Check for any low spots or high spots and make additional passes as necessary. After use, perform routine maintenance on the road roller machine, such as checking the oil levels, air filters, and drums.
