About products and suppliers

Fleece is a synthetic insulating fabric made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a type of polyester. It is a cozy and soft fabric.

Can fleece be considered a good fabric?

Fleece textile is antiperspirant, breathable, warm, and lightweight for wear. It allows moisture to evaporate thereby blocking the humidity from the outside. Fleece cloth is good for cold weather, but not necessarily used only during the winter. Due to being composed of an arrangement of shiny warp piles, they usually have a great sheen, making their hues more chromatic. With this pack of physical features, fleece is an ideal surface enhancer and can be nice-to-have material for quite a bandwidth of use, as described below.

What can fleece be used for?

If you are looking to create a luxury bedroom with bombshell sheets on your bed, then fleece can give you the deluxe look with a comfy feel. You may also find fleece great for making a wide range of wardrobe styles that are as fashionable as they are purposeful: winter clothing like fleece sweaters, fleece sweatpants, fleece hoodies, and fitness clothes like fleece lined jeans, fleece leggings, fleece jackets, and fleece joggers, among other styles. Fleece textile is also used to make household clothing such as pajamas, cushions, and even decorative toys for kids' rooms. Cloth accessories like hats and ear warmers look no less aesthetic in fleece. Fleece textile is generally valued for its warmth, its durability, and ability to survive extreme weather conditions. And for these reasons, this fabric is used to produce varieties of clothing for different purposes down to underwear used by astronauts.

Can fleece be woven with other fibers?

Fleece materials can be woven with other synthetic fibers like rayon and spandex. They can also be woven with natural fibers like hemp or cotton. When woven with these fibers, they can be used to make varieties of clothing. Examples of these are sweatshirts, sweatpants, and many others. This blend produces stretchy, soft-to-touch, and durable clothing. Lycra spandex, which is a blend of spandex and fleece fabrics, is used in making body-hugging garments.
