About products and suppliers

As the trend of electric cars expands, the demand for electric car batteries is increasing. Batteries in cars are designed differently to answer multiple requirements on the cars' performances. The battery packs of electric cars are very resilient. With lithium-ion batteries for cars, modern electric vehicles are capable of lasting at least a decade before necessary replacement.

What are electric car batteries?

An EV battery(electric vehicle) is a rechargeable battery for powering the motors of a battery electric vehicle or hybrid electric vehicle and is specifically designed for high electric charge capacity. Lithium battery cars are the typical type of electric cars. Lithium battery has a higher energy density than conventional lead-acid or nickel-cadmium rechargeable batteries, which means it takes up smaller space, reducing the overall size of the battery pack. It self-discharges at a lower rate and provides more consistent voltage even as the charge degrades. When it comes to the cost of electric car batteries, electric cars can be rated as one of the most expensive types, let alone the cost of replacing electric car batteries, which usually includes the cost of professional help.

Batteries also differentiate to match cars. For example, golf cart battery packs contain a series of batteries that supply the required voltage and amperage. They and car batteries have different standards, requirements, and maintenance needs.

How to keep battery-charged cars running longer?

As is known, batteries will slowly lose the amount of electricity they can store over time. Although modern EV batteries can commonly last more than 10 years, owners should try to keep the battery well. Environmental factors like extreme temperatures will impact the battery's performance and are likely to lead to degradation. Keeping EVs charged within 60% to 80% is also an effective method. Additionally, it will be better for the owner to minimize fast charging and make sure the battery won't be in extreme temperatures for a long period of time.
