About products and suppliers

One curtain fabric roll creates multiple roll-up fabric curtains. A roll-up curtain is a curtain with a rollable bottom sleeve. A string is connected to the sleeve, and it pulls the fabric upwards when it is drawn, creating a rolled-up look. The result is a classic curtain style that is still used in homes and offices today. Purchasing wholesale curtain fabric to create roll-up curtains is cheaper than buying it per meter because one roll contains approximately 65 meters of total fabric. Most manufacturers buy rolls of different fabric types to create other curtain styles as well.

Create blackout shades with a dark-colored curtain fabric roll

Blackout curtain fabric can block sunlight and bright lights from entering a room. It comes in many colors, but a black curtain fabric roll can darken a space effectively. The fabric itself is lined with either nylon or polyester material on the inside. The lining is meant to keep the fabric cool as it absorbs heat from the sun during the daytime. This means that it blocks both light and heat. A coat of polymer is added on top of the dark fabric for a clean finish. Most blackout fabric roll-up curtains are also sown with wool for added room insulation during colder days. Other heavy curtain fabric examples are velvet, vinyl, and velour.

Linen fabric produces medium-weight curtains and shades

Since linen is lighter than wool, it is usually sown as drapery. Despite being lightweight, it is still durable because linen is created from thick yarns. The yarn is woven together tightly to ensure the proper thickness of the curtains. Many canvas roll-up curtains are produced from linen fabric because it is strong enough to withstand repeated tugging and pulling. The linen curtain fabric is also a suitable base for creating embroidery. Unique designs and symbols may be embroidered to enhance the look of linen roll-up shades.
