Drivers can now choose among a variety of car logos to suit their style. While emblems may stay iconic for years and maintain the same design others change. It is a quick way to identify a car. For example, when it comes to a car logo with wings, many will make the association with Aston Martin's logo.

Reasons for changing a car's emblem

It is inevitable for all car logos to be exposed to harsh environmental conditions that can lead to wear and tear. The logo of the car is a symbol of prestige for many drivers, so maintaining it in good condition is important. This is especially so for luxury car logos, such as the logo of a Mercedes Benz.

There was a point in time when people stole an ornament off the hood of the car, like the Jaguar logos, was a source of pride. Hence, some people change it to prevent such an incident from happening. For others, there are people who had to replace them because they encountered an unfortunate incident. In other cases, changing the car's emblem can express the driver's style and preference. Car logos and names can be personalized for such an option and replaced accordingly. For example, company cars may do so as part of their advertisement.

How is emblem replacement done?

Start by cleaning the area thoroughly and have its location marked. Then, use the appropriate tools and remove the logo and its residue. Lastly, prepare the area for application and apply the replacement emblem. With this method, drivers can even change their KIA car logos to the new variation of the KIA logo. When that is done, a few layers of Plasti Dip can be applied to the emblems as a coating.
