About products and suppliers

While most people associate jacks with automotive maintenance and repair, the classification of jacks are not entirely based on their intended use but also in terms of their power source and designs. There are at least four different varieties of jacks. The scissor jack, also known as a car jack or jackscrew, is the most popular and commonly used type. These are what most vehicle owners are familiar with, and they are typically mechanically operated. Pneumatic jacks, which are powered by an air compressor, are another popular type. Meanwhile, farm jacks, also known as hi-lift jacks, are mainly mechanically manual-powered jacks that are popular among off-road vehicles.

Another popular form is hydraulic jacks, which lift heavy objects primarily with their hydraulic cylinders. Because of their popularity and widespread use, there are a few subtypes of hydraulic jacks worth mentioning. The top two sorts of hydraulic jacks, which are also often seen in the automobile industry, are floor jacks and bottle jacks. A motorcycle jack, on the other hand, is a typical form of hydraulic jack that is used to elevate motorcycles, as the name suggests. Finally, trolley jacks, which are essentially a heavier and more powerful version of floor jacks, are also a type of common hydraulic jack.
