About products and suppliers

Blue glue is a resin-based adhesive formulated specifically for bonding fittings, PVC pipes, and sheets. It is fast setting and considered suitable for UPVC pipes with a diameter of about 100mm or less. The red hot blue glue is useful in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. One can use it on flexible and rigid fittings, and PVC plastic pipes.

Directions for Use

The process begins with joint preparation. Cut the pipe to be joined in a square, and remove the burrs. At full socket depth distance, mark the pipe to ensure accurate joint assembly. Test the prepared joint for a dry fit. Clean the pipe and the interior of the socket using a clean cloth with a suitable primer.

The final part of the process is making the joint. Stir the blue glue properly before use. The blue glue is applied to the inner surface of the socket and to the pipe's external surface. Push the pipe to be joined into the socket's full depth to ensure proper joint assembly. The red hot blue glue drying time is between 15 minutes to 2 hours and the red hot blue glue cure time is 24 hours.

In large-diameter or high-pressure applications, it is highly recommended to use a primer. It is also advisable to follow the fitting and pipe manufacturer's instructions and the blue glue guidelines.

Cautions When Using Blue Glue

The blue PVC glue should not be mixed with any additives, not even with the primer. It should have a "syrup-like" consistency and should not be used when lumpy. The lid of the blue glue should be kept on tightly to prevent evaporation. The evaporation of solvents in the blue glue may affect its quality.

Avoid spilling the blue glue on any surfaces; immediate soaking is advised in the event of spillage. Avoid using artificial methods to speed up the drying process, for example, using a hair dryer, because artificial drying may affect the firmness of the joint.

It is advisable to always use blue glue in a well-ventilated environment. Wear gloves when handling the blue glue to protect the hands from the chemical components present in the blue glue.

Advantages of Blue Glue

It has high bonding strength. The blue glue has excellent viscosity, which ensures uniform bond coverage and 'no blow joints.' Once the pipes have been bonded, the user is ensured of strong bonds for a long time.

Blue glue is temperature resistant. It can be used for bonding pipes in wet or dry conditions without corrupting the integrity of the blue glue. Its premium formulation makes it a preferred choice in different weather conditions.

It is appropriate for portable water. The blue glue is suited for non-pressure and pressure joints, sprinklers, conduits, sewers, pool spas, and PVC flex-vinyl bonding. It is considered the most reliable option for irrigation plant joints.

The blue glue is environmentally friendly. The low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) are formulated to be environmentally responsible. Therefore, Blue glue would be a good choice to consider when prioritizing purpose and maintaining a friendly environment.
